Jihad

The Farm. It'll probably never catch up to El Paso, but bicycles rule the "indie scene" in Las Cruces. A miniature representation of Austin or Denver. To ride your bicycle to a show, wow!
So, Emo still sucks. I thought the genre was driven back to its home in the caves of Shittown. A quick game. Name the three bands homaged on the wall.
The Lucitania at Zeppelins. I'm not a fan of Zeppelins. The Lucy played a great show though, so did Buckeye and The Royalty, and that Pearl Jam cover band.
Charles R. Berry. He turned 21 at midnight at Zeppelins. To his left is Val, to his right, some Eastern European guy. Those Euros sure like to wear Puma footwear.
I found the flyer to the first show I ever played. Our band name is misspelled on the flyer. Shopping Cart With One Bad Wheel or SCWOBW. We were around for, like, a year and played only 7 or 8 shows. The original and intended lineup goes as follows: Lalo on guitar/vocals, Daniel on bass, and myself on drums. We wrote songs about gay super heroes and Anna Nicole Smith before she died. Think a bad Screeching Weasel sounding band. And that statement may be an oxymoron.
I'm not going to lie. Its been a pretty stagnant summer. But I'm sure it will pick up when I get that cocaine wholesale deal (jk). I searched Hate The Members online and found their old Purevolume and this awful promo picture. Lalo and I went to a lot of their shows when we were in high school. Guess which Members member made out with me.
I recently got into VBS. Its arguably the best thing online, next to 15 second porn clips. I love their news documentaries and Music World. I envy the correspondents.
A poem i wrote the other day.
Untitled
That little birdy Whose small heart I want to devour. Of all The holes you had To creep. Did she already smell Of the earth. She will never rest. Nightmares now come with Toothpick talons.
